Tillamook Board of Realtors has received a $5,000 grant from the National Association of REALTORS and has partnered with the Emergency Volunteer Corps of Nehalem Bay to bring you beautiful, practical and vital "Go Bags" for emergency preparedness. Voters have narrowly rejected Tillamook County's proposed 40% Transient Lodging Tax increase - by a margin of 12 VOTES out of 9,000 ballots cast! The election result was officially certified on Thursday, June 12 after a hand recount.
Tillamook County will not implement the proposed tax increase. The TLT will remain at 10%. This means that overnight visitors to Tillamook County will not have to pay the proposed 40% increase in lodging taxes from 10% to 14% TLT.
